Reliability begins at the source

We grow and source our own apples, cherries and blackcurrants. That's how we control quality, volumes and seasonality — and plan production long-term for our partners.

Apple orchards

35ha

Latgalian apple cultivars hand-picked at peak ripeness. Base for JGAN, Latvados and our vodka line.

Cherry plantations

15ha

Sour and sweet cherry trees. Used for Cherry Lady, seasonal infusions and private-label dessert spirits.

Blackcurrant fields

18ha

Blackcurrant bushes supply our famed Upeņu Vīns, Karstvīns and balzam base — Latvia's signature berry.

Apiaries & berries

2+

On-site apiaries for our Medus Destilāts (honey spirit) + wild berries foraged within 30 km of the distillery.

„We don't buy our future. We grow it."

Frequently asked by partners

  • 1 EUR-pallet (≈ 540 × 0.7 L) of any existing SKU for a pilot shipment. For private label with custom artwork — from 3 000 bottles.

  • 2–3 weeks for an existing-range order after confirmed PO and 30 % advance. 6–8 weeks if the order includes new private-label artwork or a custom recipe.

  • Yes. Samples are shipped after an initial alignment call (video or in person), so we can ship what's genuinely relevant to your market. Shipping cost is on the partner side; sample bottles themselves are free.

  • Yes — we've worked with custom ceramic bottles (see our balzam launch), stock glass of many shapes, and can tool a new mould for volumes above ~20 000 bottles per batch. Discussed case-by-case.

  • EXW Biķernieki is our default for new partners. FCA Rīga (Krievu Salā / Liepāja port) or DAP destination become available after the first successful shipment or for long-term supply contracts.

  • Full pack: CMR, EX-1 export declaration, T1 transit, commercial invoice, product specification, HACCP certificate, label translations, EAN barcodes, and country-specific tax stamps when applicable.

  • 30 % advance on confirmed PO, 70 % before shipment. Net-30 or net-60 terms are negotiable from your second successful order onwards.

  • Yes — for distributors with a signed supply agreement and an agreed annual volume commitment. Exclusivity is granted country by country, typically renewing annually.

  • Yes. We re-issue labels in the destination language and re-format warnings, nutrition and origin statements to your market's requirements. Our in-house design team handles artwork.

  • Our default: recipe IP stays with Kazanova, exclusivity of use granted to you under the supply agreement. Full buyout of the recipe can be negotiated at contract sign.

  • Every batch is traceable to its orchard block and harvest week. No artificial flavours or colours. EU-sourced glass, corks and labels. Spent pomace returns to the soil as compost.
